The 2022 Commonwealth Games are now well under way and Birmingham is hoping to deliver an unforgettable sporting extravaganza.
We are on the fifth day of the competition and England have already brought home 21 golds, including in weightlifting, triathlon and gymnastics – where the team took home four gold medals.
More than 5,000 athletes from 72 nations compete in 19 different sports as England hosts for the third time.
But what happens in the closing ceremony and when is it?
Here is everything you need to know.
When is the Commonwealth Games 2022 closing ceremony?
The closing ceremony will take place on Monday 8 August, the last day of the competition.
Unlike the opening ceremony, when there were no sporting events on the day of the show, next Monday’s ceremony will take place at the end of a busy day of medal events.
After a final action-packed day, the ceremony will run from 8pm to 10pm at Alexander Stadium.
How can I see it?
Just like the opening ceremony, you’ll be able to watch the action live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
What do we know about the ceremony?
The games are expected to go off with a bang, but the exact details of the ceremony are still unknown.
Also taking place at the Alexander Stadium, the opening ceremony was packed with references to the host city’s culture and history, including a giant raging bull, a Union Jack made from 72 cars and a powerful speech from women’s education activist Malala Yousafzai.
What sporting events will take place on the final day of the games?
The mixed synchronized 10m platform final and the mixed synchronized 3m springboard final will be held at Sandwell Aquatics Center next Monday.
Badminton will be held in hall five of the National Exhibition Center (NEC), and highlights include the men’s gold medal match, the men’s singles and the medal ceremony.
The men’s hockey medal matches will take place at the University of Birmingham Hockey and Squash Centre, with squash medals awarded at the same venue.
In hall three at the NEC, table tennis and para table tennis medal matches will be played, also followed by a medal ceremony.
