Will Marlon get to church on time?
It’s really a wonder that anyone decides to get married in soapland, as there are always last-minute problems. And in terms of form, it goes wrong Emmerdale when Marlon’s legs give out from under him and he falls to the ground.

Paddy then asks his best mate to be seen at the hospital, and Marlon agrees – but only on the condition that there is no ambulance and Rhona is kept out of the loop. However, the doctors soon bring bad news: Marlon has to spend the night due to test results indicating that he has extremely high blood pressure.
By the time the wedding day arrives, these measurements have failed to come down, and Marlon is told by the doctors that he cannot be discharged. As Paddy tries to keep Marlon calm, the two find their stress levels rising as they begin to fear the wedding will have to be called off…
Rhona ready to discover it all?
Attempts will be made to keep bride-to-be Rhona in the dark about Marlon’s health crisis as both Mary and Vanessa try to delay her attending the church. However, their efforts fail and after Rhona moves up, she soon begins to suspect something is amiss.
Vanessa will then be seen trying to calm Rhona down, but her fears are only quelled when Paddy arrives on the scene and rushes Marlon in a pimped-up wheelchair towards her. With the two guys now in their wedding suits, it looks like the big day may finally unfold as planned, and everyone in attendance gets emotional as Marlon and Rhona exchange their vows.
Priya dances away her worries
The day will also be a big celebration for Priya, who, as we’ve seen, has been worried about signs of her injuries visible to the party-goers.
But once the wedding party gets underway, she’ll be seen whipping off her jacket to reveal the scars underneath, before dancing confidently amongst her fellow humans.
Kit is a two-time love cheat
Just as Gabby is about to give up online dating, the handsome “Chris” shows up. But this potential match turns out to be a familiar face: Kit.
However, he doesn’t seem to have any qualms about juggling both Gabby and Laurel. However, things become potentially awkward when Laurel proposes a double date to Gabby with their new beau. However, Kit manages to avoid trouble by telling Laurel that he had planned to cook a meal just for the two of them.
Later, Kit resorts to texting Gabby apologizing for his lateness, but when Laurel makes a seductive pass, he is seen considering his options. By the end of the evening, Kit has finally found his way to Home Farm, where he is forced to eat another dinner, this time prepared by Gabby. But just as she is about to lead him upstairs, Laurel unexpectedly arrives on the scene. Is Kit about to be taken out?
